No worries, this is my personal accounting: it can wait when we all have time. Now it's late here, I'll go over your explanation in the coming days and then write a proper reply.

One quick note, though: I prefer to record currency exchanges only when they're happening in real life, that is I am expressly purchasing USD from EUR (as it happened this year with mutual funds) or when some institution (for example Paypal) does it due to lack of funds in the main EUR account.
