AutoHotKey is a Windows application. AFAIK it doesn't have a Linux version. It
would appear the hover and type a key sequence setting of hot keys has been
deprecated in GTK3 which GnuCash now uses. See
https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gtk-list/2015-July/msg00026.html( and the linked
follow up message.)
AFAIK the current information for Gnome and GTK2 is given here
https://developer.gnome.org/hig/stable/keyboard-input.html.en This gives you the
system reserved shortcuts
There is another wiki link re customising GnuCash in GTK3
https://code.gnucash.org/wiki/GTK3, The info under the Menu Keyboard Shortcuts
heading (ignore the link to Keyboard SHortcuts though as it just gives info re
the deprecated ability) and I tried follow the instructions for editing the
accelerator-map file given there.
I have tried setting a hot key for a File->Import->Import OFX as "<Alt><Shift>i"
in /.gnucash/accelerator-map as described and it failed to work.

I suspect the copy of the accelerator-map may only in the GnuCash user
preferences for reference and it may be necessary to rebuild GnuCash with an
altered source code accelerator-map in the source code to get this to function.
Not terribly well documented in GTK3 but I found a reference in a LibreOffice
GTK3 post which indicates this may be the case (
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97260 see Comment 14 by
Simon Long (although that post refers specifically to shortcuts in dialogs).
More developer input may be required.
