You might be missing the Gatekeeper window.
Go to /Applications and right-click Gnucash.app, choosing 'Open'.
Now you should get a Gatekeeper dialog asking if you are sure you want
to open it, confirm you do.
GnuCash *might* start, but might likely as not. Simply either double
left-click on the Gnucash.app again, or click on the icon in your dock.
It should open fine from now on.
You'll have to do this each time you upgrade GnuCash.
(note, 'left' and 'right' might be reversed if you've set up
'left-handed' mouse prefs)
Regards,
Adrien

HI all,
I have been trying to install GNUCASH on OSX 10.14.6 but with no success. New
set-up, fresh install.
After download and moving the app to Applications. When I run it the Icon
bounces in the dock for a second or two and then just disappears. No error
messages, nothing.
Anybody know how I can find out and fix what is wrong?
