My SX's are all setup with a 60 day lead time so I can keep an eye on my cash flow for the next couple of months and the CC payments' are created with a zero amount. The only reason I use an SX to create the CC txns is to save manually creating/duplicating the CC payment txn - it saves a little time :-) When the statement rocks up I reconcile and then update the amount payable and sometimes the due date if it's off a bit. So a somewhat different use case. This is why I can't use a variable in the SX as it's created so far in advance that I have no real idea what my spending is going to be to the end of the statement period.
