No, gnucash starts up unmaximised, 2.6.21 would open maximised. > Are the relevant files copied ? No, the .local/share/gnucash folder is created together with empty books, checks and translog folders. When I close gnucash without saving, the accelerator-map, stylesheets-2.0 and an empty expressions-2.0 files are created. The book's .gcm file is created in the books folder but this only contains settings, no register details. > Are your open tabs restored ? No, just the accounts tab is displayed. Richard
