The caviat is that list is still not complete because of how installations via CPAN works, but will be enough for someone to
execute "cpan Finance::Quote" and install the latest/current

Geert,

I was looking at https://github.com/Gnucash/gnucash-on-flatpak which points one to https://github.com/flatpak/flatpak-builder-tools/tree/master/cpan.

It seems the tool flatpak-cpan-generator.pl creates the JSON file used as finance-quote-sources.json. And it's definitely more thorough than what Dist::Zilla populates the META.json and META.yml files. A current run for F::Q v1.53 has about 20 more modules defined over the current https://github.com/Gnucash/gnucash-on-flatpak/blob/master/modules/finance-quote-sources.json file.

I'll play with Flatpak a little more when I have some free cycles.
