Hi, I believe the reason is the missing "chipcard.conf".
In the next version I will make libchipcard just use some defaults if the config file can't be found, or even remove the need for that file entirely (since with current versions use of PC/SC is mandatory anyway and there is not much more to setup in the config file anymore).
