I just checked in a change that does that. With luck I didn't break
things too badly. It required changing some of the scripts used to
generate the Windows install files. Since I don't have a Windows
machine to build on, I couldn't test that. Someone should see if the
Windows build still works. I did run "make distcheck" to see if things
were ok in the Unix build. It looks like this hasn't been done for a
while since it found some other errors.
