Joking aside though ... your observation is a perfectly reasonable argument
against the background. It does suggest you liked the variations on top of
the bill better than those with the generic backgrounds.
Yes and no. Having a background with bank notes is a good idea as far as
accounting is concerned, it should just be more world-friendly. Say one
bank note from each continent, all of them rather small and overlapping,
would be nice.

I'm not sure the image can be reused, but it is just the idea. Moreover
the spanish and french bank notes depicted do not exists any more since
the Euro.
