I'm not sure much of anybody has...
I've heard talk of fairly substantial upcoming revisions to the Theme
Engine. This may have shown off a pathologically bad Theme situation;
I don't think there's any unambiguous answer out there as to whose "fault"
it is when something like this happens.
Is it:
a) The application's fault, for tickling the theme?
b) The theme's fault, for being badly configured?
c) GTK's fault, for allowing things to get so bad?
d) The user's fault, for picking themes so stupidly?
Those are four "parties" clearly involved... I'm inclined to "blame"
the theme over anyone else. In a case like this, obviously the _user_
gets hammered worse than anyone else. I think it rather annoying when
the system essentially takes a "virtual cattle prod" to the user; that
is _not_ a "user friendly" thing to do.
