Ok, after you installed, there should have been a directory
<install dir>/share/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/gnucash.mo. Did
that get installed?
When running gnucash, you should have the following variables
defined and exported:
export LANG=fr (or fr_FR, etc.)
export LC_ALL=fr_FR
If it still doesn't work, then I am stumped.
Anybody else have the i18n working?
