Unfortunately, the answer is "GnuCash doesn't do that, yet."
The internal transaction engine is respecting your currencies,
but the external interface is not yet sophisticated enough to
handle their display.

Anybody know how to go from currency codes (USD, FFR, etc.)
to locale settings? Is there even a one-to-one mapping?
