Do you have libguile2-dev or libguile3-dev installed?  You probably
want the latter.  That's what I'm using.

Don't know, but I doubt it.  This is XmHTML for gtk, and the only
working version of gnucash right now is the Mo/LessTif one.  I just
built XmHTML in ~ for now.  Note that it would be nice if someone
would package XmHTML for debian.  I don't have time to do it right
now.  I should probably send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Work Needed
and Prospective Packages).

Sounds like you have a configure problem.  This shouldn't have happened.

The gnoem version is completely non-functional at the moment, only the
Mo/LessTif version works.  You probably can't even compile the gnome
version right now.
