I agree.  I think CBB was very close to being what people needed when
I switched to working on Xacc/Gnucash -- the main thing CBB was
missing was reliable splits, and (after a lot of work) I discovered
that it was going to be really hard to add that and maintain
reasonable performance.  Xacc didn't have that limitation.

I think that now we need to get the rest of the user-friendly features
that CBB had into Gnucash and then worry about the other, more
esoteric stuff.
