You certainly shouldn't be the only one reporting these bugs. I
currently don't have a setup with GNOME 2.23. I tried to run a ubuntu
live cd, but it seems like all the symlinks were in place there. Is
there any Fedora 10 live cd's around with the symlinks disabled?
I'll see if I can get a system running on a USB disk or something, so I
can join you in your efforts. It would be really nice to have this fixed
soon.
Any other volunteers?
