Its been a while since gnome-icon-theme dropped the legacy icon names. But I still run into missing icons regularly, so I get the feeling that maybe I'm the only one reporting these bugs... whats the status of the effort to move towards standard icon names ? And what about the missing gtk stock icons that I complained about a while ago, will someone add those symlinks back ?
