This is due to you owning the 6100. I believe this is an integrated card? The IPP=2 option tells the video card to create pixmaps in video memory instead of system memory, saving us a bus transfer of all that memory when we go to paint it. However, in your setup system memory and video memory are shared, so there is almost no performance penalty.
