Hi, I was very surprised reading your message and felt with some emotions.
I am a software programmer , that does not suffer of any disease. I came on this list in order being able to obtain information regarding the way for being able supporting accessibility for a program we developped. Unfortunately, this program has not been developped with gtk but with another gui toolkit and thus does not have support for accessibility. I tried finding enough documentation on the way to provide accessibility support for our application , I only found at library was able doing this . But nowhere I found a program,tutorial that will demonstrate how to achieve this in an easy way.....the documentation does not help, the only way would be hacking it. So, you understand better why there is not enough apps supporting accessibility if programmers are not able to integrate it in their softwares. Furthermore, I also worked a little bit on the florence virtual keyboard application in order to provide the ability to set it up in a gnome control panel, that is a very nice linux onboard kbd.
