For now, reservation herit the "is_recursive" flag from the inventory item. Could we imagine a solution to move this flag in the "glpi_reservationitems" ? This will allow recursive reservation of non-recursive item such as computer, phone, peripheral, ... A simple form on the item "reservation" tab will allow this with the active flag and the reservation comment which are not editable here (I think this is a missing feature). Another feature could be reservation of "License" which seems (to me) more real than "software" reservation.
