At work, we have a group, that includes user "jenkins" as a Master.
Jenkins is able to create a project within the group. (Accessing the gitlab API) But Jenkins is not able to "GET" the project. I get the response "404 Project Not Found" Here it says "Get a specific project [...] which is owned by the authenticated user." http://docs.gitlab.com/ce/api/projects.html#get-single-project So that seems to explain it.
