I went and tried implementing this myself this morning and came to the conclusion that I can't see a way to handle this issue with type coercion only. My best thought was to actually implement date +/- int directly so that it doesn't collide with the date +/- interval type coercion. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
