I plan on merging this once CI passes. It has been approved / reviewed and we need the customization of the rewriters for https://github.com/apache/datafusion/issues/16235#issuecomment-3067125182. I will follow up with PRs to: 1. Add a no-op / disable rewriter. 2. Restore the hooks to add a custom SchemaAdapter. 3.
