## Summary `SchemaProvider::register_table` and `deregister_table` are synchronous callbacks. Their current implementation enters `Handle::current().block_on(...)` from Tokio's blocking pool, which can deadlock when called from a current-thread runtime and panics when called without a Tokio runtime. Run each async catalog operation on a dedicated current-thread runtime in an owned worker thread. Add delayed async-catalog regressions that cover registration and deregistration from a current-thread runtime and from a caller without a Tokio runtime.
