I'd like to propose that we stop blocking this release on datafusion-python. We've been waiting five weeks since upgrading to DataFusion 55 (#2375), and `main` now has 168 unreleased commits, not counting Dependabot. The datafusion-python 55.0.0 release vote hasn't started yet (apache/datafusion-python#1696), and datafusion-python releases have usually trailed DataFusion by about a month. We could release the Rust crates without waiting, and do a separate Python release once datafusion-python 55.0.0 is published. That would move "Update Python bindings to 55.0.0" out of this release.
