Closing in favor of #5049, which exposes the version as the `spark.comet.version` runtime config instead of a SQL function. Per review feedback here, a config avoids polluting the function registry (which also broke the upstream `ShowFunctionsSuite` tests) and is queryable via `spark.conf.get` / `SET`. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
