Thanks for the feedback on this. I am going to close this as I think it is just adding an additional burden on DataFusion core maintainers without much proven benefit. I am going to focus instead on keeping Comet/Ballista testing against latest DataFusion main branch so that we can catch any regressions early due to changes that break distributed execution assumptions. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
