Update here is that I am pretty happy with how this API now looks in theory and how it integrates into the existing FileStream The next thing I will do is to try and implement the parquet opener in terms of the native morsel API and see how that goes and if I can replicate the improvements seen by Daniel in his PR -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
