I'm creating a CD cover and would like to overlay a transparent photo over a really nice background photo. I've read extensively through the manual and have viewed tutorials so I know this can be done. I printed and tried to follow the "How to change background of an image" without success. I've truly tried to figure this out myself as I know too many people don't even try, they just post for help. So, if I might ask, would someone provide the step by step to accompish what I'm trying? I can open the two images, use fuzzy select on the white area on the photo but then can't get it on a new layer to overlay, and I don't know how to make the image transparent. Sorry to be asking for help but sincerely appreciate anyone taking time to assist. Thank you...
