??? You can /import/ bitmap files from Gimp to Blender, but Gimp doesn't save anything in Blender's .blend format, since .blend is a format for storing 3D scenes, and this doesn't make any sense in the context of the Gimp. I am assuming that you would like to export height maps into Blender? For this, you could use formats like PNG or TIFF, even JPG. You would only need grayscale images for this, AFAIK (no RGB), and I wouldn't recommend converting the maps to indexed colors: a) I'm not sure if Blender could handle this, and b) you lose too much detail. > > Nice. I wish I spoke German (that's the language there, right?). It's actually French! ;-) Claus -- Claus Cyrny : Webdesign | Grafik | Fotografie :: Web: http://home.arcor.de/ccyrny/ ::. :: Fotos: http://photo.net/photodb/slideshow?folder_id=714471 ::. _______________________________________________ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
