Please, do explain the technical details of the solution used by these
OSes. It is precisely because we have not been smart enough to invent such
a solution that we do not think implementing a systematic generic
backbuffer in GGI/KGI should be a basic requirement. We can only think to
a design that involves a lot of swapping and probably a central dispatcher
for all drawing commands (for synchronisation) drawing commands.
 Do show us how to do it, or how it has been done on another OS. (PS: BTW,
maybe using main memory as framebuffer memory like i810 does for example,
is the key here. But this is hardware-dependent.)
