Dear Gep-ed, I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a short video about whaling to show in class. Most of the ones I've found have been activist footage, but I was wondering if there was something out there that included more of the background of the IWC as well. I did a search but I didn't come up with much.
I did find a great Ted Talk (15 minutes) about the state of marine life by a National Geographic underwater photographer that I thought I'd share - hits the highlights of overfishing, climate change etc... http://www.ted.com/talks/brian_skerry_reveals_ocean_s_glory_and_horror As always I'll compile the responses off list and send them to the group.
