Hey gabriel,
I had a discussion with you a week ago about your GeoGIT project. We have
been having a discussion on the list about a proposal for a
VersioningFeatureStore interface that is related to your work on ArcSDE and
GeoGIT. I have made a UML diagram that I have referenced in that thread
http://i.imgur.com/uoks4.png. The names of the interfaces and
responsibilities are up for debate. Do you see these as something that could
be implemented in ArcSDE and GeoGIT? I have a read through of the ESRI
documentation on Versioning and the related archive history and these seem
compatible. Although I am not trying to represent ArcSDE's full Versioning
(branching) functionality. I guess it would be like archiving the default at
the moment. The mood seems to be that if an interface is going to be added
there should be at least 3 implementations.
Do you have any interest in implementing/feedback on these apis for the
modules you are involved in?
Thanks,
Walter Deane
