I know, there has been a ton of releases in the middle, but even
looking at GeoToolkit, they are still using 1.3.1

r101 should work, just make sure to build with the pom, not with ant.

1) Look into the gt2 pom, it says
<version>8.4-701.jdbc3</version>
2) Go to the postgres jdbc driver site and into the download section:
http://jdbc.postgresql.org/download.html
3) Click the download link:
http://jdbc.postgresql.org/download/postgresql-jdbc-8.4-701.src.tar.gz
