I have seen several similar messages related to RPFTOC, but could not find
any with the verbiage as follows:

Could not list layers for this store, an error occurred retrieving them: The
Provided input is not supported by this reader.

Tried changing backslashes to forward slashes and still no go. I used the
following to create the A.TOC file:

java com.bbn.openmap.layer.rpf.MakeToc C:\mapdata\RPF C:\mapdata\RPF

 C:\mapdata\RPF is where my 1, 2, 3, A, B C folders of RPF data where
stored. I then moved this A.TOC file into the C:\mapdata\RPF folder.

Geoserver config as follows:

GeoServer Version
2.16.0
Git Revision
1ace4fd0a0fb861fd343435c8cbddc60af793adb
Build Date
18-Sep-2019 10:40
GeoTools Version
22.0 (rev 02f93f3da1bea257215ac0d685597a571a4b950b)
GeoWebCache Version
1.16.0 (rev 1.16.x/01f14feecda71a224d7d9ee3fcf9c6ba1592bf64)

I have the GDAL plugin installed and working properly.

When I tried to create the RPFTOC store, I pointed the URL to the A.TOC file
and received the error message above. I need/want to use the RPF .JN1 files
without having to convert each to a geotiff or other. Is there a way to use
this rpf/cjnc data with Geoserver?
