Hi!
I have a number of georeferenced drawings that I want to serve from
Geoserver. These are old water and sewage systems, and 5-10 drawings per
municipality.
They are overlapping and cannot be mosaicked, and need to be viewed one by
one.
I thought a layer group for each place would be ideal. But ran into
problems.
One: There seems to be no Layer Group kind that allows turning off
individual layers in the viewer.
Two: I also wanted to unadvertise the individual layers. Turns out that
this renders the layer group unadvertised too. (I find that this is an age
old bug that some claim to be design)

How do others do? Is my only resort to make one store, one layer and one
publish per drawing? I am thinking of making one workspace per
municipality, to separate the stuff, but it really feels unnecessary.

Regards, Mats.E
