a...@catherine ~ $ xdpyinfo|grep dimensions dimensions: 1024x768 pixels (306x230 millimeters) But it's NOT 1024x768! Her icon for main menu doesn't even show up. And 1024x768 is still not available from Settings->Display Settings when I right-click on the desktop.
