Damn... I just tried the same version (package downloaded from ftp.mozilla.org) on another machine with nvidia's binary driver, and still the same issues. Slashdot doesn't render, and I can't see source code (ctrl-u), all fonts are blank. As soon as I finish gnome, I'll emerge subversion and try the ebuild and post the results.
