[gentoo-user] key doesn't work anymore under Xorg

Hi,
recently (currently xorg-server-21.1.15) the <ALT> key seems to be  
ignored.
Entering some key combination like <ALT> M enters an M in my editor.
Does anybody know how to fix this?
