It is certainly overkill.  The closest one that I liked that was two
piece cost about $11 or $12 or so.  Then I ran up on that for $14.  I'm
not info flashy stuff or anything usually.  I'm more about function.  In
this case tho, I just thought it was so cute.  If that m.2 stick ever
blows up, I don't think heat will be the cause.  The m.2 cooler will
sorta match the CPU cooler tho.  I did order some thermal pads.  I have
tons for TO-220, TO-3p and plain TO-3 transistors.  The TO-3p would
work, except for the screw hole in some, but I wanted some that are
solid and thicker.  Based on size, I think they made for m.2.

When this build is done, I'm going to try and take pics and post
somewhere.  I'll link them in a thread somewhere.  I'll also post some
tests, temps and such.  There's no replacement for real results as
compared to theoretical results.  I'm sure this machine will be faster
than the current rig.  Testing will show just how much.  I suspect my
CPU will run really cool.  I got a fairly large CPU cooler.  At least
the size of my current rig.  My current CPU has never been above 125F.
The NAS box rarely gets above 102F.  It isn't in a case tho.  It sits on
top of a piece of plywood.  I did screw it down and rigged a way to lock
the hard drive down.  Just to make sure it doesn't run off.  ROFL

Several packages still in State USPS hub.  They haven't moved, yet.
