Hi, "Invalid Machine command" (forgot the exact error message) usually happened to me when I passed the wrong -march to GCC (e.g. -march=haswell on sandybridge cpus)

Can't execute it. "Invalid command". There is one terminal (gnome-terminal) still open. This is the one that I used to recompile everything. I'm logged in there as root. But I cannot open another terminal. I don't even see what I'm typing (no echo). I can only see the output. > Do NOT use binaries to speed things up. That didn't work for me.
