It's caused many Gnome users grief... it appeared that it was either a bad gnome.eclass or bad ebuilds... This bug tracks it for AMD64 (but I also think it filters to all the other arch's as well): http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92920 >From my understanding of looking at the bug and the forums recently, you should be able to sync in and it will be fixed... I haven't tried it, so I've got a 50% upgraded Gnome desktop (somewhere between 2.8 and 2.10)... but I'll do it when I get home later today...
