Yes. I am through with my recompiles and arts is no more on my system. Sure, as you say, system sounds are gone, but I donīt miss them as I never used them anyways. I donīt want to start a flamewar here but I donīt see the reason why KDE insists on using arts. Why not just route all sounds through alsa?
