The sempron can be seen as the equivalent of the celeron for intel. Don't go with that. As for Barton, they make decent desktops, but i can't recommend them for servers unless it is doing light work. Personally, I would go with the opteron processor if i can justify the additional cost, but the opteron shown in the site you posted is only an Opteron 242 1.6 ghz "sledgehammer."
