Testing can't prove that it's correct, only that it's incorrect... All Aside from all the way you've disabled dynamic dependencies for a whole bunch of packages without realising it, your other problem is that some of the breakage won't show up until later, when people start bumping and removing ebuilds. And this is the problem: you need to think carefully about dynamic dependencies and fully understand the problem. Superficial testing won't give you the whole story. -- Ciaran McCreesh
