That still does *not* solve a thing. It solves the _current_ issue with
glibc-2.16, and we'll be back to square one with gcc 4.8, or glibc 2.17,
or icu 51, or $whatever_else_the_fuck $n+1.

Crazy slots for no reason just have to stop.
