Sorry - as I explained in the bug I didn't realize that there was much interest in this package since it hadn't been touched in almost 5 years and had no maintainer. Last rites seemed a bit silly to me at the time, but now I see there is still interest so reviving it is quite allright. That said, the maintenance of RPM is still up for grabs.
