For some. Most all of my development communication is primarily done via IRC. Email is rarely used, and from what I have seen else where. This seems to be the main trend IMHO. Granted for big issues discussed over time, the ML is a better resource than IRC. -- William L. Thomson Jr. Gentoo/Java
