I think most importantly, vaultwarden is a service-like solution, it
needs to run on an (network accessible) host somewhere.  Comes with an
optional web-ui, but the real keepassxc kind of application will be the
bitwarden clients.

So, yes, vaultwarden is not currently stable, but also it is not a
stand-alone client utility, so an entirely different kind of beast,
that's more aimed at having the same passwords/keys/cards available from
all of your devices.
