The reason that I am not voting +1 (yet) is that I don't know about the plans (or otherwise) for releasing jars. There are no polaris jars in repository.apache.org staging or snapshots areas. The jars that are built in the gradle build contain not META-INF LICENSE or NOTICE (or DISCLAIMER). I think they should.
