Hmm thought I voted +1 already RE Julian's concerns - the artifact includes "incubating" so that passes the incubator requirement. The requirement doesn't say that it has to include it in the pom's version.
RE Justin - that's a potential issue, but is also how github works. Since they're doing mirror and the release off their master, that's going to appear that way. Either we need to say that release votes don't happen off of master (e.g. the way BatchEE does it which some IPMC members didn't like) or they do and we ignore the fact that github is overzealous in its release notices.
